SCD Pesto Pasta (recipe for homemade pesto sauce)

The pasta in this recipe is the red lentil pasta from tolerant foods(website link: You can get the pasta from your local whole foods or by ordering it online! We usually soak the pasta for around 8 hours even though we are not entirely sure if it is necessary! This pasta was topped with our homemade pesto sauce, check out the recipe below!


  • 2 cups of basil
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 garlic cloves

Directions: Process all the ingredients together in a food processor and enjoy!
